Unlike most light fixtures, Lucin, is about bringing in the darkness. Inspired by the moonlight and the wishful feeling that we have when we gaze upon an even sky, Lucin aims to bring the same experience indoors. Calm, restful and soothing feelings that mesmerize and create an environment to be lost in dreams and romance. Making my project real, I began collaborating with steel manufacturer, Neal Feay to get a better sense of what can be accomplished. Neal Feay is a manufacturing facility that houses everything needed to build and innovate compelling products with precision. They offer extensive experience in engineering, prototyping and manufacturing. With this collaboration, I was able to take my drawings and concepts and turn them into reality all under one roof that met the ultimate vision.
